How you can pray for…

When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Matthew 9:36

Pray that we would share God’s heart for lost people and his determination that the gospel will reach every person.

2. Connect with people

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

Matthew 9:35

Pray that God would lead us to the people he has prepared to reach their community.

3. Share the gospel

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19

Pray that the gospel would spread through us and through those we train.

4. Train disciples

Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Matthew 28: 20

Discipleship means learning how to obey Jesus and reach others. Pray that we would be faithful in obeying Jesus and teaching others to follow and obey him.

5. Gather communities

I will build my church,  and the gates of Hades  will not overcome it.

Matthew 16:18b

Wherever the gospel goes, new disciples are made and new churches are multiplied. Pray for MOVE workers as they equip new disciples to form churches.

Then Jesus said to his disciples,  “The harvest  is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Matthew 9:37-38

Our job is to pioneer, train, and multiply. Pray that we would equip new and existing believers to make disciples and plant churches. Everywhere.
